Warm-up:  Unit #6, page 21

Classwork:  Discussion about how decimals can be viewed as a type of "shorter and easier" way for writing fractions? What are its limits in doing so? What are the advantages? We also looked at some student answers to problems from Unit #6, pages 9-14.

Turned-in:     nothing

Homework:   Unit #6, pages 23-25 (students may find that using colored pencils to shade in the grids makes this easier to visualize, if they so choose)
