Lessons-Part 1:  Double-check you exit ticket from yesterday of questions regarding the properties of rational vs irrational numbers

Classwork:    Review Packet from Unit 3 (Ratios & Proportional Reasoning) [grey color- 7 learning Targets- 8 pages]

  • There are 2 CORRECTIONS:   (see the pictures below...)
    1. ​​ On Learning Target 3.2 - Question #1  add the phrase "or greater" AFTER the end of the question  ....85% or greater.
    2. On Learning Target 3.6 - Question #2 - For the SMALL TRIANGLE, the length of the longest side, the side that has no label, should be labeled with a length of "4.48 cm"

Homework:    Work on Review Packet from Unit 3 (Ratios & Proportional Reasoning) [grey color- 7 learning Targets- 8 pages] ...Note corrections above

Notes:   

  • FINAL DAY TOMORROW - Quizzes from the proportions/sectors/simliar-figures quiz can be re-taken if students score below 75% on the quiz. Quizzes should be re-taken by Friday (Feb. 28)

 

Quiz Re-Take policy: Any students who received a score of less than 75% can re-take that quiz. Re-take quizzes are somewhat shorter than the original.Students need to re-do any incorrect items from their quiz on a separate piece of paper, and show that to Mr. Usem (along with the original quiz) in order to be able to take the re-take.  Quiz re-takes are to be taken outside of class time, as arranged with Mr. Usem [Possible times are before/after school, during recess, during BEST (with permission of BEST teacher)
