Greetings!
Students have a quick one sheet study paper that we took notes on to help remember most of the 6th grade standards.  Students are also able to look at their bookmarks before they log into the test.  Every night students should look over material and get a good night's sleep.

I am proud of the hard work by the students this year, so far.  They have developed their critical thinking skills and are using it to analyze problems.  Students are ready for the high level of questions on the MCA, not just the basic skill questions that calculators can solve.
6th graders are problem solvers!

Homework:

Homework this week is for students to look over bookmarks, previous quizzes, and classwork each night for at least 20 minutes.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

This week:

1.  I will meet with students who struggled on last week's test to make a plan for understanding the concepts better.

2.  Finish our exploration of sound (short quiz near end of week.)

3. Begin a quick look at light energy.
