For the Week of January 26th, 2015

Welcome to the 8th Grade Newsletter

The 8th grade spoken word showcase was a great success.  Thank you to our brave student performers and the rest of the 8th grade for being such a great audience!

Ski Trip

The 8th grade student ski trip is coming up next week Friday.  Students received permission slips and waivers last week.  Please return both by the end of this week (if cost of the trip is an issue please contact an 8th grade teacher as we have scholarship funds).  Any questions (or chaperone volunteers!) should be directed to Mrs. Lindasy (erin.lindsay@mpls.k12.mn.us).

Winter Conferences

Winter conferences will be held after school on February 12th and in the morning on February 13th.  Due to the limited number of time slots these conferences are by appointment only.  The 8th grade team will be contacting some families to set up conferences, however if you would like to schedule one please contact Mr. Kafura (Brian.Kafura@mpls.k12.mn.us) and we will do our best to accommodate you.  As always, you are welcome to contact any of us at any time for an update about your student's progress.
