For the Week of November 23rd 2015
2nd Quarter: Missing Work!
There are large amounts of missing work across the grade for 2nd quarter.  Classwork/homework are important for helping students understand information, practice using the skills they are learning in class, and prepare for tests/quizzes.  For most assignments students get large chunks of time in class to complete them.  Additionally, all students have a study hall in Advisory on Thursdays to complete work, with an optional 24 minute study hall on Fridays.  Please review the portal with your student and help encourage them to complete/turn in anything they have missing.

Weisman Field Trip
Looking forward to the next visit to the Weisman Museum on

We are in NEED of a FEW more chaperones to join us

expanding and engaging experience!
Please email Mr. S to join this wonderful experience, celebrating our students' effort!

Students will be getting their tests back Monday.  There was a strong connection between how students scored and whether they completed their in class work and a study guide.  All students had a full class period with an option for a second class period to work on their study guide.  Ask your student if they completed one.  Students may fix their tests to earn some of their missing points back. For multiple choice questions students should select the correct answer and write a brief statement why that answer is correct.  For short answers and short essays students should fix/add to their original answers as needed.
