Student council will be having a door decorating contest to help celebrate African American History Month. They invite all parents to help judge the doors from 7:30-10. Student Council will declare the winning advisory class later in the week; that class will win a pizza party!

One of Field's popular school events is coming up in a few weeks. The annual Scholastic Book Fair is February 23-25.  It's a fun community event featuring the amazing talent of our students along with books and pancakes for purchase - what could be better!

The school year is almost half over - can you believe it? We are starting the process of looking for a 2017-2018 Co -Chair for the PTA Executive board. Please consider this extremely rewarding experience. I would be happy to talk with you regarding the position as would my Co-Chair, Leah. Please don't hesitate to call, email, or grab us when you see us at school or in the community!

Parent Support Group for ADHD at Field (5 and 6 graders)
To 5th and 6th grade parents: We are looking to start an informal parent-led group for fifth and sixth graders at Field with ADHD. In the next few weeks we'll schedule an initial planning meeting to decide on schedule, topics, and facilitators (parents or community members who specialize in ADHD).
Ideas for topics would include organization, study habits, etc. for both home and school. The goal is to build support between the kids and help the parents have their own informal network to share ideas, resources, and provide support as well.

If you are interested in learning more or participating, please contact Kristine Migely at kmigely@gmail.com.

Interested in Fastpitch Softball?
