Welcome to 6th grade science!
This year we will be exploring physical and life science, practicing skills of a scientist and engineer, and learning to be AMAZING science students.
No matter how we are learning, in person or online, we will be using a science notebook to document our learning. Students need a COMPOSITION NOTEBOOK, preferably with 100 pages.
A few other things that will be helpful to have at home, but aren't 100% necessary, include a ruler, tape, colored pencils or markers, and a small toy car! We will be working on setting up a controlled experiment, using a toy car as one possible tool. If you don't have one, we can improvise.
